Jay Buckley

Jay Buckley, Producer/Director

A lifelong Western Mass resident, Jay grew up in Northampton and graduated from UMass Amherst in 1997. With a background in broadcast television, Jay has worked locally in many capacities for ABC 40, Fox 61, and WGBY, as well as nationally for NFL and NASCAR events.  He began working for the Chicopee Public Schools in 2007 as a video production teacher and now oversees the City's audio visual equipment and cable access channels.

Wade Wofford, Producer/Director

Wade is a screenwriter and filmmaker whose films, Urban Ed, The Answer, Heroes Don't Come Home and Perception have garnered awards at film festivals worldwide. A graduate of Los Angeles Film School (Film Production), The Meisner School (Acting), University of Georgia (Bachelors, Drama), UMass Amherst (Masters, English Education), and RoadMap Writers’ Top Tier program, Wofford taught 10th grade English in Springfield before joining ChicopeeTV through his role teaching TV Production and Filmmaking at Comp. He now brings his knack for storytelling, cinematography and design to ChicopeeTV full-time - where he oversees the station's studio operations.

David Farnum

David Farnum, Part-Time Producer

David is a digital media producer who has worked in various roles in broadcast television and as a freelance producer. He graduated from Springfield Technical Community College's Digital Media program in 2018; he now works at STCC as an adjunct instructor for the Digital Media program where he teaches video production courses. Outside of STCC, he has worked at numerous broadcast television stations including MPACT-TV, WGGB, and WFSB as a videographer/photojournalist. He now works at ChicopeeTV as a Production Director, where he hopes to help the community bring their stories to life with purposeful storytelling and digital media production skills.

Alex Fenderson

Alex Fenderson, Part-Time Producer

Alex is a videographer, editor, and Emmy winning television director. Alex graduated from the New England School of Communication at Husson University in 2017 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Video Production and specialization in Photography. He has worked at Western Mass News in Springfield since 2018 and currently serves as Executive Technical Producer, overseeing a team of seven broadcast directors. Growing up in Maine, Alex worked on many projects including live sports broadcasts, a late night show, commercials and as a Videographer/Editor for Gorham Local Access, in Gorham, Maine. Alex began working for ChicopeeTV in 2021.

Amy Lake, Government Meetings Director

Amy works mostly in the City Hall auditorium, making sure important meetings get broadcast to the public. In her off time, MZ. Lake also directs and produces community theater.  Over the last few years she has sought to unite her two fields of interest by working to bring live theater to streaming services like Twitch and YouTube. Amy seeks to embrace new technology to reach new and otherwise inaccessible audiences.


Maya Crandall-Malcolm, Part-Time Producer

Maya is passionate about access to information. Originally from Seattle, WA, she earned her Bachelors in mathematics with a concentration in archival studies at Smith College. She’s also currently applying that degree to museum work at the Eastern States Exposition. Maya got her start in community access TV at Granby Community Access & Media and joined ChicopeeTV in 2023. She loves how her work exposes and connects her to so many aspects of the Chicopee and Western Mass community.
