Rose Blais, Assistant Superintendent for Telecommunications / Technology Services
A lifelong resident of Western Mass, Rose received her Bachelor's in Elementary Education at North Adams College, and her Masters in Technology in Education from Lesley University. During her days in the family business, Bolduc Trophies, she became an accomplished engraver, silk screen designer and CAD embroidery designer. She worked at both St. Stanislaus and St. Joan of Arc Parochial Schools in Chicopee, then moved to assist John Dumont (the former Director of Telecom). Upon Mr. Dumont’s retirement, she moved into her current role. She is married to Yvon Blais and has two children--Marcel and Nicole.
Jay Buckley, Television Operations / Production & Audio Visual Manager
A lifelong Western Mass resident, Jay grew up in Northampton and graduated from UMass Amherst in 1997. With a background in broadcast television, Jay has worked locally in many capacities for ABC 40, Fox 61, and WGBY, as well as nationally for NFL and NASCAR events. He began working for the Chicopee public schools in 2007 as a video production teacher and now oversees the City's audio visual equipment and cable access channels.
Wade Wofford, Producer/Director
Wade is a screenwriter and filmmaker whose films, The Answer, Heroes Don't Come Home and Perception have garnered awards at film festivals worldwide. A graduate of Los Angeles Film School (Film Production), The Meisner School (Acting), University of Georgia (Bachelors, Drama) and UMass Amherst (Masters, English Education), Wofford taught 10th grade English in Springfield before joining ChicopeeTV through his role teaching Filmmaking at Chicopee Comp. He now brings his knack for storytelling, cinematography and design to ChicopeeTV full-time - where he oversees the station's studio operations.
Jeff Dahm, TV Operations & Production Teacher
Jeff is a graduate of Syracuse University as a Telecommunications major and worked ten years as a TV News Videographer at Channel 22 in Springfield and Fox 61 in Hartford. He has been a part of ChicopeeTV since 2004 as a director for government meetings and community events, and has been teaching Video Production at Chicopee High School since 2007. He is also an adjunct professor at Western New England University.
